The Best of The Worst : Best Songs of 2016

Music is always a great escape from whatever terrible thing is happening in the real world. Below are the top 10 songs of the year.

One Dance by Drake ft.Wizkid and Kyla - I couldn't go anywhere without hearing this song. If like me, you didn't like it at first eventually it grew on you.

24K Magic by Bruno Mars - Such a catchy dance song! I will definitely continue to listen to it in the new year.

Cheap Thrills by Sia ft. Sean Paul - I was singing this ALL year long. There is no way you can say that you don't like her after this hit.

Heathens by Twenty One Pilots - 2016 was a big year for this duo and I'm sure their success will continue into 2017.

This Town by Niall Horan - Now I might be a bit bias considering how much I LOVE One Direction but this song is soo pretty!!

Formation by Beyoncé - This is the ultimate feminist song but what else would you expect from Queen B?

Sucker for Pain by Ty Dolla Sign, Lil Wayne, Imagine Dragons, Wiz Khalifa, and Logic - Besides having an amazing artist spread, this song was so catchy and I loved screaming the lyrics on my way to school (lol).

Love on The Brain by Rihanna - She also had a banner year with her collabs and singles but this was by far my favorite. Rihanna can do a wide range of music styles and this further proved that.

Send My Love by Adele - Although this technically came out in 2015, it wasn't on the radio until this year so it counts. Adele gave us the best "getting over my ex" song. Ladies when your ex-man gets a new woman and is bragging about it just send him the link to this song.

Ride by Twenty One Pilots - Like I said before, this was a banner year for these boys. This song was such an easy going song that I could listen to on repeat for hours.

I am so ready for some new music next year from these and more amazing artist!
