Perrie Edward’s Mom Puts An End To Rumors
Debbie Edwards, mother of Perrie Edwards (singer in Little Mix), was tired of hearing people accuse her daughter for false reasons. After Zayn Malik left One Direction many fans needed someone to blame for this surprising decision. Many of them blamed Perrie saying that because of their engagement Malik didn’t have enough time to be in a band. The nickname “Yoko Ono 2.0” was given to Perrie, for those of you who don’t know Yoko Ono was John Lennon’s (Guitarist from the Beatles) wife. When John Lennon and Yoko Ono got engaged Lennon left The Beatles soon after, much like Zayn, and many blamed Ono for his departure. Debbie Edwards explained that Perrie and Zayn have not even began to plan their weddings and that Zayn’s only reason for leaving was so that he can be “a normal 22-year-old”. I love how Debbie stuck up for her daughter and put an end to those awful rumors, however I still don’t think the only reason he left was to be normal, it was clearly some hidden stuff that we still don’t know about.
