Now I know that these are all speculations but it seems pretty real to me. If, in fact, these are lesbians this will be Disney's first time having a same-sex couple in one of their movies.
So what do I think about this? Kids these days are already exposed to different things than what kids 10 years ago were around. Babies are growing up with men turning into women and ladies making out on the street. Seeing it in a movie shouldn't phase them anymore. Now, since they are kids if the parent doesn't want to expose their child to the world yet JUST DONT TAKE THEM TO SEE THE MOVIE. I just hope that Disney and Finding Dory don't loose money and their good name due to a lesbian couple... that would just be so sad.
Disney Promotes Gay People… I Think
It seems as though everywhere I turn gay pride flags are being waved in my face. And you know, I get it I REALLY get it: Love should be equal and we shouldn't judge people based on their sexuality but I am so sick and tired of seeing protest and gay/trans/bi people talking about their story everywhere I go. So if you haven't had enough of women kissing each other you just wait... it might be coming to theaters near you in FINDING DORY!!! A FREAKING DISNEY MOVIE!
Ellen Degeneres, voice of Dory and lesbian, played an exclusive promo on her talk show. In the promo, there is a brief scene where a toddler drops her sippy cup after being knocked over by a baby stroller. One of the two women walking by picks up the cup and says, “Poor baby, let me get that for you.”
